South Yorkshire Local Nature Partnership - Update

SYLNP includes representation from local government, environmental groups, government agencies, universities and the private sector. The Government required SYLNP to set up a board. Richard attended a workshop in Barnsley on 17th April, on behalf of Sheffield F.O.E., where SYLNP Board was formalised.

The SYLNP mission is to “bring together organisations to champion the value of the natural environment and embed its social and economic benefits into decision making.” At the moment a draft report has been produced. Watch this space for the full report.
